  
Product Description: Fine fibers of woven steel used on wood and dry metal, alone or with other products.
Coarse-grade No. 0: For cleaning and stripping wood, removing old wax, dust, blemishes, etc.
Medium-grade No. 00: For removing varnish or shellac with strippers. Abrasive but will not scratch fine furniture.
Fine-grade No. 0000: For smoothing lacquers. Helping wax to penetrate. Good also for dry polishing of metalwork.
Directions For Use: With Wax remover, Special steel wool No. 0000 helps work the wax remover into the wood grain to completely remove pits and dust particles. With stripping agents: after removing as much varnish or lacquer as possible with a putty knife, use Special steel wool No. 0 or No. 00 to remove remaining residue before stripper has a chance to dry. For metal work: use Special steel wool No. 0 and No. 00 for removing rust, and No. 0000 for polishing.
