| 2. To produce an antique finish on new wood. |

2.1 Rub down the surface following grain direction with 240 GRIT abrasive paper. Dust off all sanding debris.
2.2 Apply an even coat of Antiquing Stain (to colour choice) with Woodworker's Polishing Cotton. Allow to dry 30 minutes and rub down lightly with 320 GRIT abrasive paper. Dust off.
2.3 Apply 2 coats of Wood Sealer Base Coat. With a pad of Polishing Cotton wrapped in cotton sheeting, apply a coat of Wood Sealer Base Coat. Allow 2 hours drying time, smooth the surface with 320 GRIT abrasive paper and repeat the process.
2.4 Apply an even coat of Buffing Wax (colour to choice) with a soft bristle brush or a pad of 0000 Steel Wool. Allow to dry for 1 hour and buff with soft cloth. |
