Buffing WaxBuffing Wax

Product Description: This unique Buffing Wax soft paste is used to finish or maintain fine furniture, wood floors, moldings and wainscoting. It revives a dull or faded finish while bringing out the beauty of the wood. It covers surface damage (superficial scratches and marks) and provides an even finish while giving the surface an antique, glossy patina. This product has been used for decades by professionals who appreciate the restoring power of this traditional finish.

The Buffing Wax stains furniture, wood floors, beams and any wood surface. It darkens furniture that has been discolored by the exposure to the sun. It is available in clear (neutral) and six wood colors. This natural product contains no toluene.

On new, unfinished wood, we recommend a coat of Lakeone Antiquing Stain prior to the application of Buffing Wax.

Directions For Use: Apply evenly to surface with Woodworker's polishing cotton. Let dry at least one hour. Buff and shine with a soft chamois cloth or a natural bristle brush. To remove water marks left by glasses and other stains, use Heavy-duty deep cleanser before staining and waxing. This will clean and revitalize the old finish. For a stain-free, water resistant finish, remove the old wax. Apply Heavy-duty deep cleanser to remove stains and clean the wood and original finish. Apply Wood sealer and base coat to waterproof and seal the surface. Gently sand the surface with Steel wool No. 0000 to remove any rough or uneven patches. Finally, apply your choice of Buffing wax.
